THE PROJECT
The Med Highway was born from the idea of a motorcycle adventure and the desire to give a deeper meaning to the journey itself.
THE GOAL
Traveling along the Mediterranean coast by motorcycle, investigating the migratory crisis in the Central Mediterranean. Collecting testimonies from those directly involved in sea rescue, reception, and integration processes.
ROUTE AND VEHICLES
8,000 km in 2 months, with 2 vintage motorcycles, while camping and in self-sufficiency. From Padua to Marseille, via Sicily.
Vespa Primavera 125 (1974)
Suzuki Djebel 600 (1986)
THE PHOTOZINE
On one side, the motorcycle adventure along the Mediterranean coast; on the other, the encounters and testimonies collected from those who, in one way or another, deal with immigration. Volunteers, associations, journalists, and institutions.
